MN Twins 2013 (Yes, Already)

Today is November 27, there are 125 days until the MN Twins 2013 opener, Spring is months away and I'm excited for baseball!  Prepare for a barrage of Twins-related articles coming (I wanted to use the term 'twin-centric' but someone has already cornered the market on it).

What is there to be excited about in November?
1. The 2012 season is over!
It was frustrating to see the Twins stay in the AL Central cellar while having a capable offense.  Once again pitching was the culprit.
*It was also slightly satisfying to see the Tigers drop the World Series in 4 games.

2. The Winter meetings are almost here!
There are so many potential major changes about to happen in baseball!  They meet, they pitch deals, they talk strategy and hopefully the Twins can zone in on a few more acquisitions like last years (namely Ryan Doumit and Josh Willingham).  I'm personally hoping to see Anibal Sanchez in a Twins uniform next year.
*Here is some of the latest free agent 'dirt'

3. The moves are starting!
The Twins recently announced the signing of Pirates minor league 1B Jeff Clement.  They need pitching, but this looks like an insurance roster move.

An interesting note and question - do you think the 'fiscal cliff' or 'Obama Care' are going to have an effect on salaries, signings or ticket prices?

Let the 2013 power struggle begin!
